I read a previous review on this hotel and a lady mentioned a restaurant named Genes and we decided to go there and the food was excellent and very reasonable. A must place to eat if you like homemade food, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. We would stay there again. ...read more

Room not clean. Carpet sticky and overall appearance poor.

This hotel was acquired via priceline. After confirming our reservation, we were informed that there would be an additional fee to go from a king to two double beds. Since the hotel has a few hundred rooms and that night occupancy was quite low, we were less than happy with the managers decision to charge us extra. This hotel was conveniently off the highway. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. The pool was nice and the breakfast was good.

Location, close to Interstate and good restaurants and
friendly staff.

2nd time in 2 weeks, problem with bathroom door lock - minor - but irritating.

Definitely a must stay, that is at the half-way point between Houston, TX and Charleston, WV. Comfortable beds, friendly folks, and near good food.

Convenient to Interstate and friendly staff.

Bathroom door lock not functioning as designed.

Really great location. Desk clerk was very helpful to us. The hotel is close to some very good eating establishments especially "Genes". Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The heating system was so dirty it could not be used.

This hotel should only be used if there is nothing else available. The heating system was so dirty we could not turn it on. The staff informed us that there was nothing that they could do about it. Missing a light bulb in room, and there were no cups for coffee maker.

Our 2nd stay within a month's time. Great location near restaurants, gas stations. Friendly staff.

Small bathroom/vanity, hard beds, poor internet connection.

Overall not too bad for a 2-star. This is probably the best hotel in the area. Beds are hard.
